PGA TOUR Enterprises is a for-profit commercial venture launched in January 2024 to house and manage the PGA TOUR's commercial interests. The entity was formed through a strategic partnership with Strategic Sports Group (SSG), a consortium of American sports team owners, which made an initial investment of $1.5 billion for a valuation of approximately $12 billion. This structure allows the PGA TOUR to retain its 501(c)(6) non-profit status for its core mission. As part of the new venture, nearly 200 PGA TOUR members were given the opportunity to become equity holders in the company. The entity is overseen by a 13-member board composed of PGA TOUR player directors and representatives from SSG.
