Overview

AP6 is the Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund, a closed-end fund within the Swedish state pension system with a special mandate to invest in unlisted assets (private equity). Its strategy focuses on the Buyout, Venture/Growth, and Secondary segments through a combination of fund commitments and direct co-investments. AP6 is a closed fund with no inflows or outflows from the pension system. As of 2025, reforms are underway to merge AP6 with the Second Swedish National Pension Fund (AP2).
