2b AHEAD Ventures is a venture capital firm, company builder, and early-stage incubator that operates as the venture arm of the 2b AHEAD ThinkTank, a European future research institute. It was founded in 2017 by Sven Gábor Jánszky. The firm focuses on early-stage (pre-seed and seed) investments and does not invest in later stages or listed companies. Its investment areas include DeepTech, AI/ML, Robotics, Metaverse, FinTech, Foodtech, Agritech, Biotech, Self-driving, Health, and Genetics. 2b AHEAD Ventures manages at least two funds, "2b AHEAD Ventures Fonds 01" and "2b AHEAD Ventures Fonds 02", which are offered to professional and semi-professional investors. The firm invests both in Germany, often in startups from its own company builder, and internationally, targeting tech teams from leading universities.
