African Diaspora Network
Overview
African Diaspora Network (ADN) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2010 that aims to harness the intellectual, financial, and entrepreneurial capacity of the global African diaspora to support development in Africa. The organization runs accelerator programs, including Builders of Africa's Future (BAF) for African entrepreneurs and Accelerating Black Leadership and Entrepreneurship (ABLE) for U.S.-based entrepreneurs. It also convenes the annual African Diaspora Investment Symposium (ADIS). In 2025, ADN launched the African Diaspora Innovation Fund (AfDIF) in partnership with Myriad USA to provide grants of up to $25,000 to social entrepreneurs, funded by philanthropic capital. While not a traditional investment fund, it acts as a catalyst and accelerator, connecting entrepreneurs with resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities.
