AgroVen
Overview
AgroVen is an investment club, also described as a Brazilian Venture Club, formed by a network of entrepreneurs, families, and corporations predominantly from the agribusiness sector. Its purpose is to debate, encourage, and invest in "Biodigital" innovation within the sector. Founded in September 2019, the group connects startups with smart money from its influential members. AgroVen evaluates startups and presents them to its members, who then decide on the investment. The club has multiple investment theses, with check sizes ranging from up to BRL 1 million for early-stage companies to BRL 8 million for Series A rounds. The group has evaluated over 1,400 agtechs and its members have invested in companies such as Muda Meu Mundo, Solusolo, and AgroBee.
