Aizawa Asset Management is a multi-strategy asset management firm based in Tokyo, Japan, that was formed in 2021 through the merger of Asuka Asset Management and Akebono Asset Management. The firm's origins trace back to Asuka Asset Management, a pioneer in the Japanese hedge fund industry founded in 2002. It provides various alternative investment strategies, including a Japanese Equity Long/Short Strategy, a Value-Up Strategy, and an Insurance-Linked Strategy. The firm manages assets for institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals and also engages in private equity and secondary fund investments. Prior to its merger and renaming, as Asuka Investments, it invested in the Series A of WorkIndia in 2020.
