Overview

Almaworks is a student-run startup accelerator at Columbia University designed for early-stage startups founded by Columbia students, recent alumni, and dropouts. The intensive 8-week program provides mentorship from industry experts and venture capitalists, workshops, and access to a network of investors. A key feature of the accelerator is that it takes no equity from the participating startups. Its portfolio companies have gone on to raise significant funding and join other notable accelerators like Y Combinator and TechStars. The program is an initiative of the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs (CORE).
