AlphaLab

AlphaLab is a nationally-ranked startup accelerator based in Pittsburgh, PA, founded in 2008. It is a program of Innovation Works, one of the most active seed-stage investors in the U.S. AlphaLab provides early-stage technology companies with capital, mentorship, and a structured program to help them grow. It operates several specialized tracks, including AlphaLab Software, AlphaLab Gear (for hardware, established 2013), AlphaLab Health (for life sciences, established 2020 in partnership with Allegheny Health Network), and the Robotics Factory. The accelerator invests up to $100,000 in participating companies in exchange for 2% equity.
