Overview
Arches Capital is a fast-growing group of business angels based in Amsterdam, founded in 2018. It aims to bridge the gap between Venture Capitalists (VCs) and Business Angels by combining VC-like sourcing and selection with the hands-on engagement of angel investors. The firm has a strong focus on early-stage and scaling B2B (or B2B2C) software companies in the Benelux region. Investment sectors include FinTech, Data Science, Commerce, Cybersecurity, and MedTech. Arches Capital invests not only in initial rounds but also aims to lead or contribute to follow-on investments for its portfolio companies. In March 2024, the firm launched its first fund, Arches Capital Fund I, with a target of €20M.
