AUC Venture Lab
Overview
AUC Venture Lab (V-Lab) is Egypt's first university-based startup accelerator and incubator, launched in 2013 by The American University in Cairo (AUC). It supports early-stage, high-growth, and innovation-driven startups across various sectors including FinTech, HealthTech, E-commerce, and AI. The lab provides entrepreneurs with training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to AUC's facilities and network of alumni and investors. It runs several programs, such as a flagship startup accelerator and a specialized fintech accelerator, and operates on a zero-equity model. The V-Lab also facilitates investment through its affiliated angel investor network, AUC Angels.
