Auxxo

Auxxo is a Berlin-based early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2019 by Bettine Schmitz and Dr. Gesa Miczaika. The firm is focused on driving diversity in venture capital by investing exclusively in pre-seed and seed-stage startups across Europe that have at least one female founder holding a minimum of 20% equity. Auxxo is sector-agnostic. The firm manages the Auxxo Female Catalyst Fund series; Fund I closed at €19 million in 2021, and Fund II announced a first closing of €26 million in July 2025 with a target of up to €50 million. The European Investment Fund (EIF) is an anchor LP in the second fund.
