Bertelsmann Investments

Bertelsmann Investments (BI) is the global venture capital arm of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA. It bundles the company's global venture capital activities and a growth unit called Bertelsmann Next. The venture capital arm comprises funds like Bertelsmann Asia Investments (BAI), Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), and Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments (BHI), as well as direct and fund investments in Europe, the US, and other growth regions. To date, approximately €2.0 billion has been invested in around 500 companies and funds, with over 350 active investments currently held. BI focuses on innovative, high-growth companies in sectors such as media, education, services, digital health, HR tech, and mobile ad tech.
