BMG Uptech

BMG Uptech is the corporate venture capital (CVC) arm of the Brazilian financial group Banco BMG. Launched in July 2016, it focuses on investing in innovative, early-stage technology startups in Brazil and the United States. The firm invests directly and through acceleration programs, often in partnership with Bossa Invest (formerly Bossa Nova Investimentos), where it is also a shareholder. Its investment sectors include fintech, agtech, logistics, and energy, with check sizes for some programs reaching up to R$150,000. BMG Uptech aims to support startups with capital and strategic guidance to prepare them for future growth and Series A funding rounds.
