Overview
The Caltech Seed Fund is an early-stage, internal venture fund at the California Institute of Technology that provides pre-seed and seed capital to support the commercialization of technologies from Caltech and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). The fund aims to help promising new companies achieve milestones that will allow them to secure further external funding. It is managed by Caltech's Office of Technology Transfer and Corporate Partnerships (OTTCP) and invests across all areas of technology where strong commercialization opportunities exist, including deep tech, life sciences, and engineering.
