CAV Angels

CAV Angels is a non-profit, angel investor and educational network that connects startups with a strong affiliation to the University of Virginia (UVA) to its network of over 160 UVA-affiliated angel investors. The group focuses on facilitating investment in early-stage growth companies, particularly in the technology and healthcare sectors, that are seeking Seed or Series A funding. In addition to providing capital, CAV Angels offers mentorship and educational programming to both entrepreneurs and its investor members. Investments are typically made via a special purpose LLC formed when there is a minimum of $250,000 of cumulative investor interest from the members.
