Overview
A Canadian national innovation ecosystem initiative managed by the Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation (CEMI). MICA is designed to modernize mining, improve its productivity and environmental performance, and accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative clean technologies in the sector. It is a pan-Canadian network that brings together stakeholders from industry, academia, and government, and is funded by the Government of Canada's Strategic Innovation Fund and private industry.
