Overview
ConceptionX is a non-profit venture programme in the UK that supports PhD students in turning their academic research into deeptech startups. The nine-month program provides training, mentorship, and industry connections to help 'venture scientists' build companies in sectors like AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech. While it initially takes no equity, it facilitates funding opportunities, including through a partnership with XTX Ventures for cheques of £100,000 and its own angel syndicate for investments of £40,000.
