Novella Center for Entrepreneurship

The Novella Center for Entrepreneurship is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that operates the Conscious Venture Lab, an accelerator program for early-stage, purpose-driven companies. The program, founded in 2013, focuses on integrating Stakeholder Theory and Conscious Capitalism into business models, supporting diverse and under-estimated entrepreneurs. It provides a 14-week training and mentoring program and invests in pre-seed and seed stage companies with a focus on social impact, urban resilience, health equity, edtech, and fintech. The accelerator was originally founded in Howard County, MD, and later moved to Baltimore. It has since expanded with a program in Trenton, New Jersey.
