AxisBIC

AxisBIC, formerly known as CorkBIC, is a private-sector led organization established in 1988 to identify, support, and develop high-potential, knowledge-intensive companies in Ireland. As part of the European Business & Innovation Centre Network (EBN), it provides hands-on guidance to entrepreneurs in areas like business planning, raising finance, and international expansion. The organization actively facilitates investment by preparing startups to be investor-ready and connecting them with a wide network of business angels, syndicates, and venture capitalists through initiatives like the Venture Academy™ and by running the Boole Investment Syndicate. While it does not operate as a traditional fund with its own AUM, it has helped companies raise over €200 million. In March 2024, CorkBIC rebranded to AxisBIC to reflect its service expansion from the South-West to the Mid-West regions of Ireland, including Limerick and Clare.
