Office of Strategic Capital

The Office of Strategic Capital (OSC) is a Department of Defense organization established to attract and scale private capital into technologies critical to United States national security. OSC uses credit-based financial products, such as loans and loan guarantees, to invest in areas important to national security, partnering with private capital providers to accelerate and scale investment in companies developing critical supply chain technologies. OSC focuses on component-level technologies with broad commercial application that are also relevant to the national security of the United States and its allies and partners.
