Development Bank of Jamaica

The Development Bank of Jamaica is a wholly-owned Government of Jamaica company mandated to foster economic growth and development. It provides financing solutions including loans, grants, and private equity/venture capital support to all levels of Jamaican entrepreneurs, with a special emphasis on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The bank invests across various sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, information technology, tourism, and energy. It provides capital through a network of financial institutions, direct lending for large projects, and acts as an anchor investor in venture capital funds.
