Overview
develoPPP is a funding programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) aimed at companies that invest sustainably in a developing or emerging country. The programme provides financial and technical support and is implemented by two German development cooperation partners: DEG Impulse gGmbH and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. It offers two main funding schemes: 'develoPPP Classic' for established companies, providing co-funding from €100,000 up to €2 million, and 'develoPPP Ventures' for start-ups, which offers a grant of €100,000 with a matching funds requirement.
