DNV Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of DNV, an independent expert in assurance and risk management. Founded in March 2020, the firm invests in early-stage (seed to Series A) B2B startups that align with DNV's purpose of safeguarding life, property, and the environment. Its strategic investment areas include the energy transition, maritime transformation, cybersecurity, and digital health solutions. DNV Ventures provides portfolio companies with capital and access to DNV's technical expertise, global network, and customer base. The firm initially aimed to build a portfolio of 15-20 startups.
