Overview
The Earthshot Prize is a global environmental prize and platform founded by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in 2020. It is designed to discover, accelerate, and scale groundbreaking solutions to the world's most pressing environmental challenges. Each year, five winners are awarded a £1 million grant to scale their solutions. The prize also provides finalists with tailored support and access to a network of partners. In 2024, it launched Launchpad, a matchmaking platform to connect innovators with investors and philanthropists.
