EDP Starter is the corporate venture capital (CVC) and open innovation program of the EDP Group, a global energy company. It focuses on investing in and developing pilot projects with early-stage startups in the energy sector, including renewables, smart grids, energy storage, and digital solutions. Through its venture capital arm, EDP Ventures, it invests in seed to series B rounds. The program connects startups with EDP's global business units and experts to accelerate technology adoption and foster long-term collaborations.
