ELMA Philanthropies provides philanthropic advisory services to The ELMA Group of Foundations, which aims to improve the lives of children and their families, with a primary focus in Africa. The organization develops strategies, recommends grants and other investments, monitors performance, and manages partnerships. In addition to grants, ELMA makes direct impact investments in for-profit companies and holds Limited Partner positions in private equity funds focused on health and education in Africa. The ELMA Group of Foundations includes several specialized entities: The ELMA Foundation (children in Africa), The ELMA Relief Foundation (humanitarian aid), The ELMA Growth Foundation (economic development in Africa), The ELMA Music Foundation (youth music programs), and The ELMA Vaccines and Immunization Foundation.
