European Social Fund PLUS

The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) is the European Union's main financial instrument for investing in people, supporting employment, education, skills, and social inclusion. For the 2021-2027 period, it merges four previous instruments: the European Social Fund (ESF), the Fund for European Aid to the most Deprived (FEAD), the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI), and the European Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI). It is jointly managed by the European Commission and EU Member States, with national or regional managing authorities selecting projects for funding. The fund's priorities are guided by the European Pillar of Social Rights.
