FINCA International

FINCA International is a global non-profit organization founded in 1984 with a mission to alleviate poverty through sustainable solutions. It operates FINCA Ventures, an impact investing initiative launched in 2018 that provides patient capital to early-stage social enterprises. FINCA Ventures focuses on sectors including energy, water/sanitation/hygiene (WASH), education, health, agriculture, and fintech, with typical investments ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 in seed and Series A rounds. FINCA is also the majority shareholder of FINCA Impact Finance, a global network of community-based microfinance institutions and banks.
