Overview
The Bankinter Innovation Foundation, established in 2003, is a non-profit organization with the mission to promote wealth creation in Spain through innovation and entrepreneurship. It collaborates with Bankinter's venture capital arm (Bankinter Capital Riesgo) through its 'Startups' program to invest in early-stage, high-potential technology companies. In addition to its investment activities, the Foundation runs several other programs, including the Future Trends Forum (a think tank), Akademia (university education), Scaleup Spain Network, and Cre100do (supporting mid-market companies).
