Overview
Gotham Funds are a series of long/short and long-only equity hedge funds, mutual funds, and ETFs managed by Gotham Asset Management, LLC. The firm was founded by Joel Greenblatt and Robert Goldstein and is the successor to Gotham Capital, which was established in 1985. The investment philosophy is value-oriented, selecting long portfolios from companies believed to be undervalued and short portfolios from companies believed to be overvalued, primarily within U.S. large and mid-cap companies.
