Slovak Government

The Government of Slovakia is the supreme body of executive power. The government is responsible to the National Council of the Slovak Republic for the performance of its function. The Government jointly decides on draft laws, on government regulations, on the government's program and its implementation, on fundamental measures to ensure the economic and social policy of the Slovak Republic, on draft state budgets and the state final account, on international agreements of the Slovak Republic, on fundamental domestic and foreign policy issues, on the submission of a draft law of the National Council of the Slovak Republic or another serious measure for public discussion.
