Overview
GV Angels is an angel investment group founded in 2017 by alumni of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in São Paulo. It is one of Brazil's leading angel networks, focusing on early-stage technology startups. The group is sector-agnostic but targets companies with a large addressable market. It has a network of over 300 investors who provide capital and expertise to help startups grow. In August 2024, GV Angels partnered with Mercado Bitcoin to facilitate R$50 million in investments through tokenization.
