Harvard Management Private Equity Corporation

Harvard Management Private Equity Corporation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that invests funds for the benefit of Harvard University. It is an affiliate of and managed by Harvard Management Company (HMC), the investment firm responsible for managing Harvard University's endowment and related financial assets. As of fiscal year 2024, HMC allocates 39% of the university's $53.2 billion endowment to private equity, making it a significant limited partner (LP) in external funds while also having the capacity for direct investments.
