Overview

The Harvard Business School New Venture Competition (NVC) is an annual contest for students and alumni designed to support new business and social impact ventures. Sponsored by the HBS Rock Center for Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise Initiative, the competition serves as a launchpad for early-stage ventures, providing cash prizes, in-kind resources, and exposure to potential investors and mentors. The competition is divided into three tracks: Student Business, Student Social Enterprise, and Alumni. Since its inception in 1997, it has awarded millions of dollars in prize money.
