Helsana HealthInvest AG is the corporate venture capital subsidiary of the Swiss health insurance provider Helsana. Founded in 2020 and operational since 2021, it invests in European startups and venture funds focused on digital health. The firm's goal is to improve efficiency and care in the Swiss healthcare system. Its investment focus is on Series A to B companies in the DACH, Benelux, and Nordic regions. While the primary focus is digital health, it may also invest in fintech, insurtech, or cybersecurity, but explicitly excludes biotechnology, life sciences, and pharma. The evergreen fund has a volume of CHF 100 million.
