Catalan Institute of Finance

The Catalan Institute of Finance (ICF) is the public development bank of the Government of Catalonia, founded in 1985. Its mission is to foster the Catalan economy by providing financing and investment to the business community, complementing the private financial sector. The institution offers a range of financial instruments including loans, guarantees, and venture capital investments, targeting startups, SMEs, and other organizations to support strategic projects. Through its subsidiaries like ICF Capital, it directly manages venture capital funds and also invests as an LP in other funds.
