ICICI Venture

ICICI Venture is one of India's oldest and largest alternative asset managers, established in 1988. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICICI Bank. The firm operates across various asset classes including Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Special Situations. Initially a venture capital provider, the firm transitioned in 2002 to focus on late-stage and mid-market private equity investments, providing growth capital to companies in a wide range of sectors across India. In May 2025, its parent company announced the approval to transfer ICICI Venture's private equity and real estate fund management businesses to ICICI Prudential Asset Management to consolidate offerings. Following this, ICICI Venture is expected to manage residual funds and provide advisory services.
