I.E.C.T. - Institute for Entrepreneurship Cambridge-Tirol, also known as I.E.C.T. - Hermann Hauser, was founded in 2015 to support deep-tech and science-based entrepreneurs. The initiative consists of two entities: I.E.C.T. – Hermann Hauser Management GmbH, which runs educational and accelerator programs like the I.E.C.T. Summer School, and Hermann Hauser Investment GmbH, the investment vehicle founded in 2016. The organization aims to build a startup ecosystem by providing know-how, network access, and capital to early-stage companies, primarily at the seed and Series A stages. Its investment focus includes AI, Digital Health, Synthetic Biology, Electronics, and Quantum Computing in the DACH region.
