Independence Equity

Independence Equity is an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in companies commercializing technologies that improve resource utilization. Resource utilization technologies reduce input costs such as raw materials, energy and labor, improve yield in production processes, or decrease waste or scrap. The fund will initially invest between $500K and $1M with the objective of holding capital in reserve for follow-on investments. Independence Equity looks to invest nationally, with a particular interest in companies located in regions currently underserved by venture capital.
