Innovacorp

Invest Nova Scotia is the Province of Nova Scotia's business development agency, responsible for promoting economic growth. It was formed in 2022 through the merger of Innovacorp and Nova Scotia Business Inc. The agency makes direct venture capital investments in early-stage, high-growth technology companies through its Nova Scotia First Fund, and also acts as a Limited Partner in other venture capital funds. Its key focus sectors include technology, ocean technology, life sciences, aerospace and defence, financial services, and advanced manufacturing. Beyond capital, it provides businesses with hands-on guidance, access to a network of mentors, and other acceleration initiatives.
