The Innovate UK Investor Partnership is a UK government-backed programme that supports innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by aligning its grant funding with private equity investment. It aims to address the 'equity investment gap' by de-risking R&D for private investors and accelerating growth. The programme brings together Innovate UK's grant funding with aligned capital from a selected pool of 'investor partners', which includes venture capital funds, corporate investors, and angel groups.
