Innovate Alabama

Innovate Alabama is Alabama's first statewide public-private partnership focused on entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation. It was established to implement the recommendations of the Alabama Innovation Commission and aims to create a resilient, inclusive, and robust economy. The organization manages several programs to support small businesses and entrepreneurs, including the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) programs, LendAL (loan financing) and InvestAL (venture capital). Through these initiatives, it provides direct investment to startups, invests in venture capital funds as a limited partner, and offers grants.
