Overview
In-Q-Tel (IQT) is an American not-for-profit venture capital firm that invests in companies to keep the Central Intelligence Agency, and other intelligence agencies, equipped with the latest in information technology in support of United States intelligence capability. IQT's mission is to identify, evaluate, and leverage emerging commercial technologies for U.S. national security and allied partners. It acts as a bridge between the private sector and government, fostering collaboration between Silicon Valley startups and national security entities. IQT concentrates on three broad commercial technology areas: software, infrastructure and materials sciences.
