Jiangsu Guoxin Investment Group Ltd. is a large-scale, wholly state-owned enterprise group in Jiangsu province, established in August 2001 with a registered capital of 30 billion yuan. It is primarily engaged in state-owned capital investment, asset management, and restructuring. The group's business is divided into major sectors including energy, finance, and real estate. It is the largest energy investment body in Jiangsu, supplying approximately 50% of the province's electricity and 15% of its natural gas. The group also has a significant financial portfolio, including a trust company, and is the largest shareholder in several local financial institutions like Huatai Securities and Jiangsu Bank. The ultimate owner is the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.
