KfW Capital

KfW Capital is the venture capital subsidiary of the KfW Group and one of Europe's largest investors in venture capital (VC) funds. Its objective is to sustainably strengthen the VC ecosystem in Germany by investing in German and European VC and venture debt funds. These funds are then obligated to invest at least the amount of capital provided by KfW Capital into innovative technology companies in Germany. KfW Capital operates with support from the German Federal Government's 'Future Fund' (Zukunftsfonds) and the ERP Special Fund. It also coordinates the Future Fund on behalf of the federal government.
