Kliimaministeerium

The Kliimaministeerium, or Ministry of Climate, is a government ministry of Estonia responsible for policies regarding climate, transport, energy, environmental protection, and the sustainable use of natural resources. It was established on July 1, 2023, through a reorganization of the former Ministry of the Environment (Keskkonnaministeerium). The ministry's responsibilities include the comprehensive implementation of the green reform, climate policy formulation, promoting renewable energy, and advancing the circular economy.
