Korea Venture Investment Corporation

Korea Venture Investment Corporation (KVIC) is a government-backed fund of funds manager established in 2005 under South Korea's Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Its primary mission is to vitalize the nation's venture capital ecosystem by managing the Korea Fund of Funds (KFoF) to provide capital to venture funds that invest in SMEs and startups. While its main role is as a Limited Partner (LP) in other funds, it also participates in direct and co-investments into companies. KVIC focuses on sectors like ICT, biotechnology, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing, and has expanded globally to facilitate international collaboration.
