Cyclotron Road

Cyclotron Road is a fellowship program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) for entrepreneurial scientists and engineers. As a U.S. Department of Energy Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program (LEEP), it empowers innovators to advance hard-tech ideas from concept to viable first products. The two-year program provides fellows with a living stipend, research funding, and access to the world-class facilities and expertise at Berkeley Lab, in partnership with the non-profit Activate. The program focuses on technologies with potential for global impact in areas such as clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and decarbonization.
