Lloyd's Lab
Overview
Lloyd's Lab is an innovation accelerator program established by Lloyd's of London in 2018 to foster technology-driven solutions for the insurance market. It runs a 10-week InsurTech accelerator programme twice a year, providing startups with mentorship, co-working space in London, and access to the Lloyd's market and network of experts. While the Lab itself does not take equity, its parent organization, Lloyd's, invests in select alumni through the Lloyd's Central Fund to support their growth and integration into the insurance industry. The program focuses on themes like climate risk, data and models, and creating new insurance products.
