LongJump is a first-check, founder-led venture capital fund that invests in early-stage technology companies. Initially focused on the Chicago area, the firm provides capital, connections, and community to founders. A key part of its mission is to invest in startups with at least one founder from an underrepresented community. The firm is industry-agnostic and now invests in founders across the United States, outside of major tech hubs. LongJump typically provides a company's first investment, writing checks of around $50,000 to $110,000.
